This album was written to celebrate the birth of Gerald and Yohanna's (wife) daughter, Nia. The birth helped Law and his family heal from a loss suffered the year before with a previous pregnancy.
The music here audibly transmits the love that was poured into it while also containing traces of sadness. There is a sense of peace woven throughout the entire album that makes it easy for children and adults alike to fully decompress and sleep tranquilly.

GERALD LAW II
Drummer, composer, and band leader, Gerald Law II, built a reputation as the go-to drummer for jazz and R&B artists in Central Florida. If you’ve seen him play, you know why he’s affectionately called “the smiling drummer.” From his drum throne, Law drives the rhythm and elevates the performance of everyone around him.
