SENSORY VIBES: VOL. I

The idea of the Sensory Vibes was created in 2019 while stuck at home in the heat of COVID-19. These tunes came to life through my experiments with Sunhouse's Sensory Percussion sensors. As the idea evolved, I was inspired to add the acoustic touch of cymbals alongside the adventurous textures painted by the electronic sensors.

Two of the tunes feature a combination of my two first instruments, drum set and cello, and raw samples of my son's voice as he crashed the cello sessions. Though I originally planned to re-record the cello, hearing his voice offered a freshness that I fell in love with.
